Cloud Migration and Cloud Computing Services for Businesses: AWS, Azure and Google Cloud

Cloud computing services cover the assessment, migration and management of your applications on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, with security and costs kept under control. Monthly management costs roughly €400–€1,500/month + VAT.

What’s included

  • 01

    Cloud assessment

An inventory of applications and dependencies, a 6R classification for each one and an AWS vs. Azure vs. Google Cloud comparison for your case.

  • 02

    Phased migration

We move non-critical environments first, then production and databases, with acceptance tests and a rollback plan at every stage.

  • 03

    Cost optimization (FinOps)

Rightsizing based on actual usage, reservations for steady workloads, shutting down test environments outside business hours and removing forgotten resources.

  • 04

    Cloud security

Least-privilege access, SSO, data encryption and secrets management, with periodic access reviews.

  • 05

    Hybrid cloud

Secure connections between your office and the cloud, Active Directory synchronization and replication for disaster recovery.

  • 06

    Monitoring and cost reporting

A single dashboard for performance, errors and cost, with alerts when you go over budget.

When moving to the cloud makes sense

The cloud makes sense when you need flexibility: seasonal workload spikes, teams working from several locations, new applications that need to launch quickly, or disaster recovery you don’t want to build in a second office. It doesn’t always make sense: some legacy applications, or software licensed per hardware, remain cheaper on-premises.

That is why we start with an assessment, not with the migration. Every application gets a reasoned decision: rehost as is, replatform, refactor, replace with a SaaS service, retain or retire.

How we run a migration

Migration happens in phases, not all at once. We start with development and test environments and internal applications, continue with web applications and APIs, and move production and databases last. Each phase has acceptance tests and a documented rollback plan, and critical applications are moved using parallel replication to keep downtime to a minimum.

The new infrastructure is defined as infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, so it can be rebuilt identically and audited. Access follows the least-privilege principle, with SSO, and data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.

After the move come 30 days of hypercare: fine-tuning, training your in-house team and operations documentation.

Service packages

Stage What you get Price
Cloud assessment inventory, AWS / Azure / Google Cloud comparison, cost estimate, migration plan on request
Cloud migration target architecture, infrastructure-as-code, phased migration, 30 days of hypercare project quote
Cloud Management 24/7 monitoring, monthly cost optimization, backup, security reviews €400–€1,500/month + VAT

Stages can be purchased separately: you can do just the assessment to have a basis for budget decisions, and then decide whether to go further.

Costs and common mistakes

Most “exploding” cloud bills come from oversized resources, test environments left running and the lack of a monthly review. For the part that stays on-premises, see server and network management. If your applications need to be rebuilt for the cloud, see software and web development.

Cloud migration for businesses, step by step

A well-run cloud migration doesn’t stop your business. We inventory servers, applications and data, decide what moves and what stays on-premises, choose the provider (Microsoft 365 and Azure, AWS or Google Cloud) and move in phases, testing before every cutover and with a rollback plan. After the migration we take over management and keep an eye on the monthly bill, so your cloud services don’t cost more than they should.

How we work

  1. Step 1

    Infrastructure assessment

We inventory applications, traffic, storage, databases and licenses and decide what is worth moving and what isn't.

  2. Step 2

    Recommendation and estimate

We propose the target architecture and provider, with an estimate of the monthly cost and the medium-term total cost of ownership.

  3. Step 3

    Migration

We work in two-week sprints, with demos at each stage and 30 days of hypercare support after the move.

  4. Step 4

    Ongoing management

Monitoring, updates, backup and a monthly cost review, with a report for management.

Frequently asked questions

Another question? +40 750 293 932 · office@secureitsolutions.ro

Which cloud provider is the best fit?

It depends on your applications and the ecosystem you already use. Azure is the natural choice for companies built on Microsoft 365, Active Directory and SQL Server. AWS has the broadest range of services, while Google Cloud is strong in data analytics and Kubernetes. In the assessment we compare the options against your actual needs.

Will moving to the cloud save money?

It can, but not automatically. Savings come from rightsizing, reservations for steady workloads and switching off unused resources. Without a monthly review, the cloud bill can grow fast, which is why cost optimization is part of monthly management.

How long does a migration take?

For a company with 10–30 servers and a few standard applications, migration typically takes 2–4 months, including the assessment and the 30 days of hypercare. Large projects that involve refactoring applications can take 6–9 months.

Does my data stay in the EU?

Yes, if that is what we agree. All three providers have regions in the European Union, and policies can be configured to block storage outside the EU. Encryption with customer-managed keys and data processing agreements are part of the project.

Can I keep some servers on-premises?

Yes, the hybrid model is very common. Many companies keep applications with licensing constraints or sensitive data on-premises and move web applications, reporting or backup to the cloud. For some organizations, hybrid remains the final architecture.
