Servers and network
Managed Servers, Networks and Virtualization for Companies
Infrastructure management covers the design, deployment and maintenance of your servers, network and virtualization, with continuous monitoring and redundancy. An outsourced team costs roughly €850–€2,000/month + VAT.
What’s included
- 01
Linux and Windows servers
Scheduled patching, hardening based on CIS Benchmarks, user management, Active Directory and Group Policy, troubleshooting and tuning.
- 02
LAN, WAN and VPN networks
Switches, routers and firewalls, VLAN segmentation, QoS, site-to-site links and VPN tunnels for remote work.
- 03
Virtualization
Deployment and migration on VMware vSphere, Proxmox VE or Hyper-V, high-availability clusters and physical-to-virtual server conversion.
- 04
Monitoring and alerting
Zabbix, Prometheus and Grafana for metrics and alerts, with escalation to the on-call engineer and access to your own dashboard.
- 05
Perimeter security
Next-generation firewall, IDS/IPS, web filtering and rules reviewed on a regular basis.
- 06
Backup and disaster recovery
3-2-1-1-0 backup with Veeam, Proxmox Backup Server or Acronis, off-site replication and documented restore tests.
What infrastructure management means
Servers, the network and the virtualization platform are the part users never see until it stops working. Professional management means scheduled updates, continuous monitoring, verified backups and up-to-date documentation, so that a fault is caught early and fixed without panic.
We work with environments ranging from a single server to multi-site setups with a virtualization cluster and cloud components. You get a single point of operational accountability, with no problems bounced between vendors.
On the network side we configure switches and firewalls from mainstream vendors (Cisco, MikroTik, Fortinet, pfSense or OPNsense), segment the network into VLANs so that the guest network or industrial equipment can’t reach the servers, and connect sites via VPN or SD-WAN. On the server side we apply updates in agreed windows, usually outside business hours, and keep the documentation current.
Management plans
| Plan | Best for | What’s included |
|---|---|---|
| Essentials | 1 location, up to 5 servers | monitoring and alerting, monthly patching, daily backup with quarterly restore test, 8/5 support, monthly report |
| Professional | 30–150 employees, up to 20 servers | virtualization cluster, full monitoring, vulnerability scanning, backup with replication, 24/7 support |
| Enterprise | multi-site, hybrid cloud | unlimited servers, HA cluster, disaster recovery, dedicated lead engineer, on-site response |
As a guide, an outsourced team for your entire infrastructure costs €850–€2,000/month + VAT, well below the total cost of a senior in-house IT manager. You can switch plans from one month to the next, with no penalties for upgrading or downgrading. You receive the exact quote after the audit.
Typical infrastructure decisions
Many projects start with a simple question: what do we keep on-premises and what do we move? If part of your infrastructure is going to the cloud, see our cloud computing services. For end-user and workstation support, see the IT maintenance contract.
We are based in Bucharest, with on-site support in Bucharest and Ilfov County and remote management for companies across Romania. We start with a free consultation and a review of your current setup. Request a tailored quote.
Server management, in a nutshell
Server management means scheduled updates, monitoring of disks, memory and services, backups verified by test restores, account and permission management, and documenting every change. We manage Windows Server and Linux servers, physical, virtual or in the cloud, with on-site support in Bucharest and Ilfov. Servers are included in the Standard (up to 3) and Premium (unlimited) plans; see our IT support plans.
How we work
- Step 1
Infrastructure audit
We inventory servers, network, virtualization and storage and identify single points of failure, risks and unsupported equipment.
- Step 2
Optimization plan
We propose priorities, an estimated budget and availability targets. The decision stays with you, and each stage is signed off in writing.
- Step 3
Monitoring rollout
We install monitoring, define alert thresholds and connect them to the ticketing system.
- Step 4
Operations and reporting
Maintenance in agreed windows, incident response under the SLA and a monthly report covering availability, incidents and recommendations.
Frequently asked questions
Another question? +40 750 293 932 · office@secureitsolutions.ro
Do you work with Linux or Windows Server?
Both, and with mixed environments. We cover the common Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu LTS, Debian, Rocky, AlmaLinux) and Windows Server, including Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS and SQL Server. We also manage Docker containers for applications that run that way.
How do I find out about incidents?
Critical alerts go straight to the on-call engineer, with automatic escalation if they are not picked up. You are notified on your preferred channel and receive a monthly report on availability, capacity and resolved incidents.
Can you move our physical servers to virtual machines?
Yes, it is one of our most common projects. We migrate during maintenance windows, usually outside business hours, with a rollback plan documented and tested in advance. Consolidation usually reduces the number of physical servers and energy consumption.
What happens if a server goes down at night?
It depends on the plan: with 24/7 support plans, monitoring triggers a response outside business hours as well, under the SLA. A well-configured high-availability cluster automatically moves services to another node, and the root cause is investigated afterwards.
Do I get access to the monitoring dashboard?
Yes. Every client gets read-only access to their own Grafana dashboard, showing resource usage, service availability and active alerts, without admin rights.
